Job Description
Fiserv will provide the SOP, and the Cognizant team will follow the steps mentioned in the SOP
- Schedule and monitoring batch jobs in production environment using CA7 Scheduling tool.
• Respond to job failures or delays and take corrective actions.
• Investigate job failures and restart from the correct step or provide JCL override before restarting.
• Analyse logs and job histories for performance or error patterns.
• Manage LIST/READY/ACTIVE queues in CA7
• Add/Remove USRRQMT/HOLD jobs per request
• Monitor overnight batch window and be vigilant to report any issues and resolve asap.
• Support DR activities
• Coordinate and work with Mainframe Console Operations if required. - Cognizant team will escalate to Fiserv L3 team for any unresolved issues
