I was informed by HR that I'll be getting the offer letter first and then BGV will be initiated. However I received BGV mail today from digiverifier without any offer letter. I tried calling HRs to get clarity on this, dropped mails as well, but they don't respond. Should I proceed with completing the BGV or wait for final confirmation from the HR? Waiting for someone's helpful response. Thank you!

What are the bench policies at Cognizant. I have heard from some people that we should get projects within 2 months and Cognizant doesn't allow us to work after that. Is it that risky? Please share your thoughts on how it is with projects the other way, work life balance and in general ,..if someone is thinking to join on 4 years of experience. I appeared for interview with cognizant after receiving selection mail i was falsely accused of lip syncing this is clearly a misunderstanding . This incident shattered my self esteem & pride. I demand justice not only i suffered humiliation but my referrals also left my side for you this might be a petty act but for me it cost my self destruction. I have been in industry for 5 years i know such practice exist but accusing someone without proper finding is not right , it might have happened to be slow delivering issue or any other but lip syncing is clearly a big accusation . I demand justice & ready to face banned for lifetime if found guilty but denying my right to know is not acceptable

Big Blow for Cognizant Employees: 5-Month Delay in Hikes Amid Rising Attrition

Cognizant , the IT giant, has just announced a 5-MONTH DELAY in salary hikes, citing rising attrition rates. 15.9% is the current attrition rate, i.e., the number of employees leaving the company, which could impact the company’s performance, morale, and competitiveness. Cognizant traditionally used to give hikes & bonuses in March, but under Ravi Kumar S, hikes are now pushed to August (2024 & 2025). Last hike (1-5%) was in August 2024, meaning employees wait a full year for their next raise. Meanwhile, Cognizant’s CEO is the highest-paid Indian CEO, with a whopping ₹184 crore. I saw one post saying “Ravi Kumar, after delaying salary hikes, just went into full ‘Badass Ravi Kumar’ mode”. Is it true? What do you think about this decision? Share your thoughts!

Poor Workforce Management

I have been working with Cognizant over 18 months, and the experience is nothing short of traumatic. Let me summarise how it is - 1. Micromanagement. 2. No Work From Home independently 3. Poor transport facility 4. Always a pressure cooker when going to office. 5. Everyone is somehow managing inside the ODC like a chained slave. won’t be recommending to come over to Cognizant. If you still do, please reject the client - Fortive if you are coming across with that time. It’ll be a jail time in here.

Why is this company so bad?

Anyone else feel that this is an horrible company? I agree its far better than the other companies that are also mainly BPO . I was rebadged from a different company last year and the pay hike was just 50k INR in my CTC. I'm now in one of the highest programs within my Project and learning about the new hires salary is just plain disappointing and demotivating. I'm sure the Hike percentage now will also be horrendous. The only saving grace is that it's a Google Project and there are a few perks to that.
