Job Description: Cloud Sales Manager

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: MBA / Management Graduate

Experience: 10-15 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Cloud Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the rapidly evolving cloud computing market. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets, focusing on acquiring mid-market and enterprise clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of IT solutions, including Cloud, SaaS, Security, and Virtualization, to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and drive successful deal closures. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of our cloud business.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Sales Strategies:

- Define and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including market analysis, target customer identification, and value proposition development, to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.

- Develop and manage sales forecasts and pipelines, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities and progress against goals.

- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and segments within the cloud computing space.

Identify, Prospect, and Acquire Clients:

- Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify potential mid-market and enterprise clients through various channels, including networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events.

- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client business challenges and technical requirements related to cloud adoption and digital transformation.

- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.

Build and Maintain Strong Relationships:

- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key IT decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors) and C-suite executives within target client organizations.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored IT solutions.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and effective relationship management.

Sell IT Solutions:

- Effectively articulate the value proposition of our IT solutions, including Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), Cybersecurity solutions, Virtualization technologies, and related services.

- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that clearly address client needs and demonstrate the benefits of our offerings.

- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions and ensure alignment with client requirements.

Engage with Technology Partners and Resellers:

- Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with strategic technology partners and resellers to expand market reach and create joint business opportunities.

- Collaborate with partners on co-selling initiatives, lead generation activities, and solution development.

- Ensure effective communication and alignment with partner programs and objectives.

Negotiate and Close High-Value Deals:

- Lead and manage the negotiation process for complex, high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.

- Effectively address client objections and concerns to drive successful deal closures.

- Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to the delivery and account management teams.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.

- Utilize sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

- B2B/Enterprise Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in B2B/Enterprise Sales within the IT industry, specifically selling Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), SaaS offerings, Cybersecurity products and services, or Virtualization technologies. Candidates with experience selling software solutions will also be considered.

- Proven Track Record: A demonstrable and consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in previous roles. Must be able to provide quantifiable results.

- Consultative Selling and Solution-Based Approach: Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand complex client business challenges and recommend tailored solutions that address their specific needs.

- Experience Managing Enterprise Accounts and Channel Partnerships: Proven experience in managing enterprise-level client accounts, building strong relationships, and driving account growth. Experience in developing and managing channel partnerships is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of IT Architecture, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity: Solid understanding of fundamental IT architecture concepts, various Cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), deployment strategies, and the importance of Cybersecurity in modern IT environments.

- Excellent Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex deals and achieve win-win outcomes.

- Strong Business Acumen: Ability to understand the business drivers and financial implications of IT solutions for clients.

- Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented: Highly self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve and exceed sales goals.

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and partners.

- Proficiency in CRM Tools: Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365) for managing sales activities and pipelines.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Familiarity with specific cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective service offerings.

- Knowledge of specific SaaS applications and their business benefits.

- Understanding of various cybersecurity threats and solutions.

- Experience selling managed services or professional services related to cloud and IT infrastructure.

- Existing network of contacts within the mid-market and enterprise segments in Mumbai.

Education:

- MBA or equivalent Management Graduate degree from a recognized institution.

Experience:

10-15 years of relevant experience in B2B/Enterprise IT sales, with a significant focus on cloud solutions.
