Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Consultant with a strong background in the steel or manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business improvements through SAP SD module configurations, supporting sales processes, and ensuring the seamless integration with other SAP modules like MM, PP, and FI/CO. Hands-on experience in implementation, support, and process optimization in a manufacturing or steel industry environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements related to the sales and distribution processes within the steel/manufacturing industry.
• Configure SAP SD module components (OTC, Order management, Variant Configuration, pricing procedure., Copy Control, billing, shipping, credit management).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, FI/CO) for end-to-end business process integration.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis, identify business process improvements, and provide solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Provide support for ongoing SAP operations including ticket resolution, process optimization, and enhancements.
• Assist in SAP SD end-user training and documentation.
• Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and new implementation projects as needed.
• Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for SD-related topics during project planning and execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MCA
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP SD module with at least 1 full-cycle implementation in steel or manufacturing domain.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end SD processes: inquiry, quotation, sales order, delivery, billing, and credit management.
• Strong experience in pricing procedures, tax configuration, output determination, and third-party sales scenarios, Sub-contracting.
• Good knowledge of integrations with MM, PP, and FI/CO modules.
• Familiarity with batch management, handling units, and transportation processes in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience in resolving production support issues and working with ITSM tools.
• Proficient in writing functional specs and working with ABAP developers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in steel manufacturing processes such as coil processing, rolling, or casting.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
• SAP SD Certification is a plus.
