Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: KL University, Orissa Campus
Department: Marketing & Communications / Design Team
Reports To: Marketing Manager / Creative Head

Position Summary:

KL University is looking for a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to create visually engaging designs that support the universitys branding, marketing, and promotional activities. The designer will work closely with the marketing and digital teams to produce content for both online and offline channels, ensuring brand consistency and high visual impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality graphics for brochures, posters, banners, advertisements, newsletters, social media, websites, and presentations.
• Create visual assets for digital campaigns, emailers, landing pages, and online ads.
• Work with content writers, social media managers, and digital marketers to bring campaigns to life visually.
• Develop creative concepts that align with the university’s brand identity and messaging.
• Edit and retouch images as needed for print and digital use.
• Ensure timely delivery of designs, adapting quickly to feedback and revisions.
• Maintain and organize a library of design assets, templates, and project files.
• Stay up to date with current design trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in graphic design (experience in education or agency preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print assets.
• Understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout techniques.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience with motion graphics or basic video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
• Knowledge of branding, marketing principles, and creative storytelling.
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
