Position Summary:

KL University is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to develop high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content to support the university’s branding, marketing, admissions, and academic outreach efforts. The ideal candidate should be able to write for diverse platforms including the website, brochures, blogs, social media, and ad campaigns, with a strong grasp of SEO and storytelling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and proofread content for the university’s website, landing pages, blog posts, emails, brochures, newsletters, press releases, and social media.
• Develop SEO-friendly content that enhances organic traffic and supports search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with the marketing, admissions, and academic departments to understand content needs and target audiences.
• Create compelling student and faculty stories, testimonials, and alumni features.
• Assist in scripting video content, digital ads, and promotional material for campaigns.
• Ensure all content is consistent with the university’s brand tone, style, and voice.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor content analysis to optimize strategy.
• Stay updated on trends in education, content marketing, and student engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in content writing, preferably in the education or digital marketing sector.
• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and usage.
• Strong portfolio of published work (blogs, articles, social media posts, etc.).
• Knowledge of SEO writing and content optimization tools (e.g., SEMrush, Yoast).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems (CMS).
