Certinia Developer - Salesforce Platform (5-7 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Certinia Developer to join our ERP Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in developing and customizing robust applications within the Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) ecosystem, leveraging the full power of Salesforces Lightning Platform and Apex.

You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable ERP solutions that directly support our clients critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Certinia Development : Lead the customization and configuration of core Certinia ERP modules, including PSA (Professional Services Automation), Financial Management, Revenue Management, and others, to precisely align with evolving client business requirements.

- Salesforce Platform Development : Design, develop, and deploy complex solutions utilizing the Salesforce Lightning Platform. This includes creating custom Lightning Components (LWC and Aura), Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and implementing advanced process automation tools such as Flow and Process Builder.

- Integration & Data Migration : Architect and implement seamless integrations between Certinia and diverse external systems using various APIs (REST/SOAP) and ETL tools. Additionally, you will design and provide comprehensive support for robust data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Solution Design : Translate intricate business requirements gathered from stakeholders into detailed and clear technical design documents, subsequently delivering highly scalable and efficient Certinia solutions that meet performance and security standards.

- Testing & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute thorough unit tests for all custom development. You will also perform rigorous peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices, and actively assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and broader Quality Assurance (QA) processes.

- Client Collaboration : Work closely and collaboratively with functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions that exceed expectations.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on development experience specifically within the Certinia (FinancialForce) platform.

- Strong, demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Apex, including bulkification, governor limits, and best

practices for asynchronous processing.

- Proficiency in developing with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce.

- In-depth understanding and practical experience with key Certinia ERP modules, such as PSA, Billing Central, and Financial Management.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, including its multi-tenant environment, metadata-driven platform, and declarative capabilities.

- Expertise in Salesforce data modeling, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and schema design, as well as the Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, OWD, sharing rules).

- Proven experience with Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk, Streaming), and integrating Salesforce/Certinia with external systems using various web services and data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud).

- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and proficient use of version control tools like Git.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
