Senior PHP & Laravel Developer (12-14 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP & Laravel Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web application development, system architecture, and Laravel best practices. You will lead development efforts, architect scalable systems, and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable PHP/Laravel-based applications.

- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to define system requirements.

- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

- Work with modern DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.

- Keep up to date with new technology trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills :

- 1214 years of overall experience in PHP and web application development.

- Minimum 6+ years of strong hands-on experience with Laravel (including Laravel 8/9/10).

- Proficient in MySQL, database design, and optimization.

- Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC Architecture, and Design Patterns.

- Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and working with Vue.js or React is a plus.

- Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth, JWT, GraphQL (optional).

- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and TDD principles.

- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Laravel Certification or related PHP certifications (preferred).

- Experience in leading a team or working in a tech lead role.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
