Maintenance Head

Hands on Experience of Paint Shop, Moulding Machines & Electroplating Plant along with utility like DG Set, Compression, ETP, STP, RO Plant, Scrubber etc..

1. Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred,
2. Extensive plant level experience with significant proven man management experience
3. Technical capability and understanding
4. Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), lean manufacturing
5. Experience of managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for maintenance
6. Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain

ROLE

Oversee the maintenance operations of the facility, including machinery, equipment, and building systems. - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming). Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. - Coordinate with production departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for maintenance activities Includes people management and budgetary cost & reporting.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

1. Planning, Allocation and supervise all activity related to PM, Repair and Installation activities, including spares monitoring of all plant machinery.
2. Identify and propose improvements to any equipment, systems, or automation needs to improve production and operations
3. Developing relationships with contractors and service provider to ensure timely work completion with quality work
4. To ensure that all plant machinery, building & other facilities are ok and performing well and to provide solution and support whenever needed.
5. Budget Making and Inventory control related to maintenance department.
6. Interacting with Government agencies for legal concerns related to plant and maintenance.
7. Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works
8. Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
9. Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems
10. Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken
11. Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
12. Produce written reports and make presentations
13. Undertake continuous training and development
14. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
15. Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
16. Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
17. Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements
18. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.

Financial and Budget Control

1. Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets
2. Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects Relationship Management
3. Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities.
