Senior Engineer, IT Time System Kronos

Position Summary and Purpose:

• Key contributor in the comprehensive delivery of high-quality support to end users on Kronos Timekeeping.
• Developing user/client requirements and documenting business and technical implementation plan.
• Developing program specifications for system components.
• Developing system interfaces using Kronos utilities.
• Providing security and user maintenance functions.
• Providing management and users with ongoing project status and issues resolution.
• Test and review the quality of developed programs.
• Test and review the quality of overall system.
• Assure quality and integrity of final production implementation compliance with committed function, dates, data integrity, and performance.

Decision Making:

The Sr Engineer, IT Time System will have the authority to make programming and deployment recommendations with oversight from the Manager, IT Time and Payroll Systems and/or Senior Manager, Director of Global HRIS

Job Duties

Major Actions / Supporting Actions

1.Responsible for developing, testing, debugging and managing Kronos application

2.Use of knowledge and experience to resolve difficult problems submitted by end-users

3.Participates in design and implementation of complex projects while ensuring adherence to the compliance and security guideline of the organization

4.Ensure suitable Disaster Recovery plans are created and maintained

5.Supporting migration of new sites and countries to the Global Kronos instance

6.Collaborates with external teams and stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.

7.Writes testable, performant code with unit tests and documents the features and approaches

8.Provide direction to and review work of team members around configuration and interfaces

Job Requirements to Successfully Fulfill Job Duties

Knowledge & Skills

1.Kronos/UKG Time and Attendance, Workforce Integration Manager (WIM)

2.Experience managing on-premise Timekeeping solutions

3.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

4.Business Analytics, and project planning and deployment experience

5.Knowledge of UKG Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) and Workforce Setup Data Manager(SDM)

Other Qualifications

Formal Education and Experience

Typical Experience

7+ years IT experience with Kronos/UKG on premise and cloud applications; 4+ years experience working with UKG Workforce Central

Education

4-year degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
