The primary purpose of the Product Owner is to lead the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives. This includes translating business requirements into actionable plans, overseeing development, and driving iterative improvements. The Product Owner fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams and engages with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the successful delivery of products aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
The Product Owner plays a pivotal role in driving the development of innovative technologies. By aligning business needs with product strategy, this role contributes significantly to the creation of high-quality solutions that deliver tangible value to both internal teams and end-users.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Machine Learning teams to develop advanced data extraction technologies (e. g., VLM-based no-OCR systems).
- Understand business needs and work with Product Management to define epics and user stories.
- Maintain a product backlog based on business value and strategic priorities.
- Facilitate a shared understanding of product value within the cross-functional team.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture product requirements.
- Partner with Data Analysts to monitor product performance and support data-driven decisions.
- Track product progress across iterations and communicate status to global stakeholders.
- Stay current with Agile best practices and emerging product trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI concepts (e. g., VLM, LLMs).
- Experience working with AI/ML-focused teams.
- Strong technical aptitude with adaptability to new tools and processes.
- Data-driven mindset with analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe or similar is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in international, cross-functional team settings.
- Strong communication, conceptual, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
