Engineering Manager - Software Development (10-15 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of a next-generation AI-driven enterprise platform.

This platform aims to transform decision-making processes at scale by leveraging generative AI, automation, and advanced analytics.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving the engineering execution, aligning technical efforts with business outcomes, and leading a cross-functional team of developers, ML engineers, and DevOps specialists.

Youll play a key role in building scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that deliver real-world impact.

Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team working on complex, AI-enabled enterprise solutions.

- Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to define and execute the technical roadmap.

- Own end-to-end delivery, ensuring code quality, system performance, and architectural integrity.

- Oversee sprint planning, technical documentation, and release management.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across business and technical teams.

- Implement engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance where necessary, especially in system design and architecture.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering with at least 3+ years in a people management or tech leadership role.

- Solid experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python), frontend frameworks (React/Angular), and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience working on AI/ML or LLM-integrated applications is highly desirable.

- Proven track record of delivering complex products in agile environments.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in client or stakeholder-facing roles.

Nice to Have :

- Experience working on enterprise SaaS platforms.

- Exposure to tools like Apache Airflow, Redis, Kafka, or GraphQL.

- Familiarity with MLOps and cloud-native data platforms.
