Job Overview :

We are looking for a Data Scientist (Python) with strong experience in backend development, data science workflows, and exposure to modern AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python, API development, data handling, and have working knowledge of NLP and LLM models.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build scalable backend components and APIs using Python and FastAPI

- Work on data wrangling, feature engineering, and model integration workflows

- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning/NLP pipelines

- Implement RESTful APIs to serve ML models and data services

- Use SQL for data extraction, transformation, and integration

- Leverage Docker for packaging and deployment

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD workflows

- Integrate solutions using OpenAI, Hugging Face, and other LLM APIs (e.g., GPT, BERT)

- Work cross-functionally with data engineers, ML engineers, and business teams

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Python programming

- Experience with FastAPI or equivalent frameworks

- Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling

- Good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

- Familiar with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

- Exposure to data science workflows, model deployment, and MLOps practices

- Experience or familiarity with NLP, OpenAI libraries, and Hugging Face models

- Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, BERT, etc.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in agile and cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP
