Walk-In: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new-to-bank customers from the open market and nurturing them for one year. This role involves servicing the customers and cross-selling banking products and services. After the initial nurturing period, customers will be assigned to respective Relationship Managers (RMs) or Relationship Officers (ROs) based on their eligibility.

Role & responsibilities

• Acquire new-to-bank customers from the open market through direct sales, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
• Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and offer tailored banking solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new customers for one year, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement.
• Deliver excellent customer service by resolving queries and providing ongoing support.
• Cross-sell banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, loans, investments, and insurance.
• Monitor customer behaviour to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) for smooth onboarding and servicing.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
• Prepare reports on acquisition, retention, and cross-sell performance.
• Transition customers to RMs or ROs based on eligibility after the nurturing period
