Promotion: Getting promotion is less, more politics and region-based favour followed for promotion. No promotion for seniors and hardworking people. Regional bias especially if someone where to join DGA (Dell Global Analytics) it should go with BGA (Bengal Global Analytics). Promotions reserved only to these regional employees. A policy for all dell employees to complete 18 months to be required for promotion doesn’t hold good for Bengal Employees. No job security- frequent layoffs. They want to chase off people and not give severance, so they are trying everything in their power to make the employees more miserable and feel tortured from 5 days a week policy and no promotions. And from what I have heard extremely low or negligible salary hikes. The culture is extremely bad for a long term perspective and would take a toll on your mental health.
