Illogical Sudden Layoffs. Paid Car Parking which you have to be in queue. Bike Parking you have to book a day advance , sometimes you get sometimes not. Appraisal is not good. Bonus is too little. Appraisal Plus Bonus does not make difference. Appraisal Amt gets credited very late around in 4-5 months. Lifts take hell lot of time. Leadership keep on revolving whether it is good or bad. Good Leadership should stay but after period of time they also move in some other group. Which makes group unstable....Read More

Work life balance is amazing, great people to work with.

Dislikes

Current management is biased and has no vision. They are focused on promoting their family and friends. People managers are burden on organisation and have ZERO engineering skills. A restructuring is required at top level so Macquarie is back again to best in Gurgaon.

-Powerplay at the hands of Directors and above. -No Job Security at all. -Work-Life balance policy needs to be improved. -You won't be appreciated for disagreeing with senior leaders.

So let me get this straight. Right now everyone in Macquarie is being recruited from HSBC. So the recruitment itself comes across as fixed before hand with ex-HSBC Senior leadership only hiring their ex-HSBC colleagues, ie their own kith and kin. Same goes for Promotion and Ratings. Macquarie was totally different just 6 years ago, merit used to appreciated but now it's exact opposite. Don't bother applying for this company if you are meritorious, high performer. You need to be from HSBC or a relative of HSBC leadership here....Read More
