Absolutely the most reprehensible place to work (especially for freshers). First, they’ll visit your campus and select you, thereby blocking you from appearing for any other companies on-campus. Then, they’ll take an year to release the offer letter. Then, they’ll keep extending the training period (far longer than 6 months, what was originally promised on campus). Then, after having extended your training an innumerable number of times (post 6 months), they’ll say we’re having to let you go due to ‘cost cutting’. An absolutely nightmarish experience. I mean, if all they wanted was to keep us as interns for 6-8 months, why’d they visit our campus as a “Full-Time working opportunity” company ? Could’ve simply told the respective college placement cells that they’re coming to hire interns only, so that we (the candidates) could’ve appeared for other Full-Time working opportunity companies on-campus without being blocked from the placement process....Read More

They hire, then take an entire year to release the offer letter (that’s right : I’m a 2021 pass-out from Masai School, they selected me from campus in January 2021, but released the offer letter only in February 2022). I finally joined in May 2022. I completed 6 months of my training (as was promised in the offer letter) in November, and when I asked for the full-time employment conversion letter, they said that it was ‘under process’. They repeated the same thing in December. Come January, and they fired me along with many other 2021 pass-out batch recruits (from Masai and various other colleges), and they also laid-off most of the 2022 pass-out batch recruits. An absolutely nightmarish experience. And with the current given market scenario, we have absolutely no clue as to what to do. Worst, the only ones affected are the recruits from 2021 and 2022 batches, so with that little of working experience (1.8 yrs & 0.8 yrs respectively), we have absolutely no idea as to how to proceed ahead with our careers. Rest assured, the placement cell representatives (from various colleges like : Masai school, PEC University, IIIT Kota, Thapar University, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jaipur, NIT Patna, etc.) have assured us that they’ve blacklisted Snapdeal and won’t allow them to set foot on our campuses ever again. So much for the bankrupt e-commerce Indian company that no one even uses on their phones anymore, whose only motive was to destroy freshers’ careers by subjecting them to such torturous treatment. Work life balance as people don't have much to do.

Dislikes

Job insecurity as company layoffs every alternate year to cut losses. Management is completely clueless about company's vision hence they keep changing their policies very often. Company very often hire top management guys on the basis of reference not on merit basis hence people like Gaurisha who are not qualified enough to do the job come onboard.
