HDFC Securities - Worst place to work
The work culture here is toxic and suffocating. dominated by politics, especially from recent hires. The new brand head is the epitome of unprofessionalism, lacking even basic decency, let alone leadership skills. Expect late-night calls, last-minute chaos, and no boundaries. The CMO, clueless about financial markets, insists on micromanaging everything. His arrogance, mood swings, and disrespectful behaviour make him impossible to work with. Upper management is no better. Their “strategic hires” bring in people with zero financial acumen into a finance firm. an absurd mismatch. Job security? Doesn’t exist. If you value your peace, stay away.

... pays less but there's at least mental peace to an extent and work life balance. The only good thing at ICICI Securities is salary for freshers.

The culture and the bosses. Everyone cares about sales here. If you don't do sales, don't achieve targets then they would treat you like sh"t and take out your work life balance because you will be made to work for like 12 hours a day. Nobody cares except sales in this company.
