GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

...s still work their tails off and, shocker, actually keep the company running. 2. We get paid on time. Such luxury. 3. There are plants. Green ones. Inside and out. (The one thing thriving here, apparently.)

Oh, what a privilege it is to be a long-standing member of RSPL. I mean, I've weathered every storm highs, lows, meh times and look at us, still standing! You'd think that calls for a bit of celebration, right? But no, now we're blessed with a level of 'Supervision' where I half expect to file a report for taking a breath. We're being watched so closely, I'm surprised they haven't installed chips in our "Tea" mugs. And honesty with management? Please. If you dare to speak your mind, congratulations, you just volunteered as tribute for the next round of "How to Ruin Your Own Career." Apparently, feedback is only welcome if it comes with a bouquet and a handwritten note saying, "This is not criticism." Micromanagement? Who needs it! Oh wait, We do, suddenly, as of October 2024. What a Charming twist. Because that's definitely the secret sauce that brought us this far... oh, wait, it wasn't. Not Bad but Worst: 1. AVP Talent Development: If you thought HR was about supporting employees, let me introduce you to our resident Game of Thrones champion. Her hobbies? Ego, manipulation, and making sure everyone's business is her business. She has this superpower where she can twist any fact into a pink slip, impressive, right? She's the director's and CEO's favorite, so naturally, she's untouchable. Her main job is gathering gossip and serving it cold to management- never mind if it ruins someone's career. She's all smiles and sweetness until you realize that's her "I'm lying" face. Picking her for this role? Genius move. Just ask all the innocent people paying the price for it. 2. AVP Finance: I'm sure the whole organization wakes up every day just wondering what he'll contribute today! Spoiler: it's usually office politics, chit-chat, and... nothing else. His latest innovation? Lay people off = profit. Einstein would be proud. Maybe if he's fired, the company can finally buy those plants gold-plated pots. Humble suggestion: save your money and let him go. And here's the kicker: AVP Talent Development and AVP Finance actually believe they're the company's saviors. Most of their "work" is just marathon meetings with each other, inventing new ways to make the rest of us miserable. It's like watching a live episode of the Kapil Sharma Show - Gutthi and Palak reincarnated. 3. Admin Manager: Ah yes, the Director's very own Alexa listening to everything, then playing back the worst bits in a loop. His main talent is knowing everything about everyone and spinning it negatively for the director. Promotion incoming, I'm sure. 4. AVP Marketing: The ideas are there. Execution? Not so much. Mostly spends time wailing and clinging to AVP Talent Development like a toddler with separation anxiety. 5. VP Sales: Plot twist! He used to do actual work, but now, he's joined Team Drama. Why? Who knows. He's given up on building the company and is now busy wrecking his own reputation. If only he'd focus on sales, not sideshows. Dear CEO: If you ever wondered what happens when you let politicians, not professionals, run your company, look around! You built this place with your own sweat and trust. There are still people here who care about the company (promise!), but maybe listen to them before you lose them, too. And when you get the feedback that this review is just another "bitter ex-employee" rant, or someone "unhappy with their raise," or someone who hates coming to the office, just know it's not true. I'm only writing this because once upon a time, honesty was encouraged. Now, it's censored. So, here we are planting the truth among all those office ferns.

Flashy, I will give them that. Omg! From the outside, it feels like you are working at an esteemed organization. You can enjoy their meal service at a subsidized rate as if we dont have a kitchen at our house or we are working only for meals!

...your problem. Am I talking to an HR or a journalist? Anyways, moving ahead... 4. Now let's talk compensation benefits. That's why we all join a company anyway. Here they will give you a joining bonus, which, if god forbid, you leave the company before completing one year, you need to give it back. This one is not that bad, every company must have some sort of backup and safe plan. But, what comes next is funny.. Your yearly appraisal, you get it on a quarterly basis. So, if you leave before the quarter ends, you need to return that extra (your hard-earned increment). Fun fact - They call it their retention strategy! 5. Missing your school grades - Rishabh got that covered as well. In their experience letter, they give grades based on your last year's performance. But hey, we all know it's just about how your manager thinks about you. Grades from A to E and god knows what? I mean, what are you going to tell your next organization - why is there a D or E on your experience letter? Honestly, am I holding an experience letter or a report card? I feel genuinely scared to even show my experience letter to my dad - Kya pata kab Gucci ki belt se maarna shuru kar de...
