In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. People are good and helpful. Depends on the team you get into. Some projects have really good tech stack and lot of work. Well organised process.

No hike if you join after june. Projects are mainly driven by France except few local client projects. France people over dominate you, and you can feel the difference in the way they talk to their colleagues in france compared to the Indian teams. Even client behaviour seems rude sometimes.

If you have the quality of ownership than you will have job security in most organization. Sopra steria is no different. Work life balance is good mostly. You can have bursts of days full of work and then the same for no work. Company culture is a subjective thing. Overall culture is good in the sense that if you're not being heard than you can approach even the CEO directly and they listen.

The salary increments become less as your experience grows. Promotion and other stuff is also not based on skill it's about how much time you've spent working. They don't care about your skillset. You just get assigned in random project with random skills that you have to pickup.
