Why's salary still treated like a taboo?
We work 50+ hrs a week for money, yet the one thing we don’t talk about openly is… salary. Someone once told me, “If you talk about pay, HR will think you're difficult.” But shouldn't knowing your worth be basic, not rebellious? It’s weird, companies want transparency from candidates, but won’t return the favour. Ask a simple “What’s the budget for this role?” and suddenly everyone’s “still finalising”. Bhai, finalise toh tabhi karo jab we’ve finalised expectations too?

Occasionally, Managers do not value an individuals' unique strengths, which is why I had to take back my suggestions most of the times.
