Interview Preparation Tips

Round: HR Interview
Experience: I was interviewed by HR. At first she asked me about myself like family background, hobbies then asked about how good are you at handling pressure. So I answered every question carefully. I told her about family background, hobbies .Then she asked me about my future plans.I told her that I will work now but surely I want to study further. She was silent for a while then asked about for how long will you work with us and If you leave us then what should we do. I explained her that right now my focus is on work so there is no plan of leaving. Then she asked me about knowledge of ms office. I knew basics of it so I said yes I know . So a further step she asked me about Advance excel. The one which is used regularly now a days. It includes formulas so she asked me some of them. I gave answer to most of them. But then she said we will let you know about selection. Sadly there was no call from there side
Tips: In this whole process one should be relaxed to answer every question. For questions like myself one should give every detail correctly without hesitation as they are checking your speaking skills and ability. Knowledge related questions like ms office one should be clear with its concepts and be able to explain it easily. One should know the formulas and uses of every command in it which will create a good impression.Lastly for future plans you can say that you are not thinking of any other thing right now and would happily focus on job as HR always select the one who can give long term service to the company

General Tips: Make sure you be 100% clear with the software functions. You must try to explain every single detail about the software.Ms -Office is now mandatory for almost every jobs especially in Finance and Accounts.
Skills: Excel Skills, Knowledge of MS Office, Proficiency In English
College Name: Thakur College of Science & Commerce

MBA regret: Started too low, now what?
I'm 24, MBA grad from Chandigarh University (Distance) in 2024. No campus placement, so I took a Banca channel job at Aditya Birla Sun Life for 2.75L via walk-in. Hit 100% of targets for 8 months. Realized freshers were earning more at Tata, Birla, and HDFC Life (upto 4L). Switched to Axis at 3.7L. Now I regret starting so low. It'll take 1.5-2 years to reach a 5-6L package because I lacked references and campus placement. My initial package messed up my career start. Most companies hike 35-40%. I've lost 2 years despite having the knowledge and skills. No MBA value. Just regret. What should I do next? Is there any way to monetize my time spent? My potential is asking for more CTC but the initial package messed everything up.
