MBA regret: Started too low, now what?
I'm 24, MBA grad from Chandigarh University (Distance) in 2024. No campus placement, so I took a Banca channel job at Aditya Birla Sun Life for 2.75L via walk-in. Hit 100% of targets for 8 months. Realized freshers were earning more at Tata, Birla, and HDFC Life (upto 4L). Switched to Axis at 3.7L. Now I regret starting so low. It'll take 1.5-2 years to reach a 5-6L package because I lacked references and campus placement. My initial package messed up my career start. Most companies hike 35-40%. I've lost 2 years despite having the knowledge and skills. No MBA value. Just regret. What should I do next? Is there any way to monetize my time spent? My potential is asking for more CTC but the initial package messed everything up.
