Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Please spend a minute to read this if you are seeking a job in Lepide Noida The company has growth potential due to the Eu and US government's strict compliance laws. This is one of the reasons I joined here. But none of the leadership knows the processes how software engineering happens in the modern world. They have very old systems that require a lot of manual effort. They won't give any training or mentorship to the employees, but expect the employee will read their minds and align themselves. They hired people who have vintage project management experience to improve the team efficiency, which leads to employee burnout, poor work-life balance, and mental well-being. A lot of people got fired in a short time frame from this organisation due to the mismanagement and lack of process. 90% of the senior employees are the relatives of the directors, so the management will retain them even when they are constantly underperforming. Instead, they will fire other employees at the time of appraisal. Another important point is the dirty office politics in this organisation. Everyone wants to make their number, so the smart political guys play cards to show off how they helped the organization by demoralising other employees. This leads others to put in PIPs and eventually get fired. One of the best comedy an the reason of poor quality output I found in the organization is a guy who frequently interfare to the development and quality assurance from the operations. He was joined the organization as a scrum master and gained the trust of the directors by playing the politic cards. He doesn't even know what is going on in the backend technically but expecting people shoould visit him frequently and paying attention to him. If someone ignore him, he will make plan to pressurize them and fire them eventually. So if you are going to join this organization, go and touch the feet of the scrum master/operation guy first otherwize you will loose your job very soon. BY THE WAY, I'm still watching the organisation by wondering how they develop software without following a process. A few examples of their system: 1. The product management team is mostly from the UK, having no direct contact with the engineering team 2. They write a few lines of requirements in a tool which has no accessibility to the engineering team. 3. A business analyst(another ground-level politician) is expected to convey the requirements to the team through direct discussions without any documentation. The majority of the important information will be lost in this transport. They use Jira for bug tracking and time logging only. 4. The development team is led by friends and relatives of the directors. They don't care about the new employees or their career growth, so no mentorships or help are expected. Although no such things exist yet. 5. QA teams are distributed under the dev leads, so bugs need to go through their table for approval. 6. While implementing the requirements, the BA or SM try to cover the things from the PM team so that they can;t observe and share feedback causes project extension. 7. Finally when the project is delivered, a lot of chaos errupts from everywhere seeing the half cooked items. 6. By seeing the feedbacks and discussions, the engineering manager went on mad mode and start shouting on the employees and asking them to not leave the office until the issues are fixed 7. From the very next days, the BA and the SM discuss their NASA formulas and communicate to the management to get the approval of firing people.
