System Administrator - Azure/Windows Server (5-7 yrs)

What You'll Do :

- Azure Cloud Administration : Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud resources within Microsoft Azure, with a focus on Azure ARC, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Microsoft Intune.

- Windows Server Management : Perform comprehensive administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (2019, 2022), ensuring optimal performance and availability.

- Active Directory Management : Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including user and group management, GPO administration, DNS, and DHCP.

- Hybrid Cloud Integration : Implement and support hybrid cloud solutions, effectively leveraging Azure ARC for managing resources across on-premises, edge, and multi-cloud environments.

- Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce security policies, best practices, and compliance standards across Windows Server and Azure environments, including MFA deployments.

- Monitoring & Performance : Proactively monitor system health, performance, and security events, responding to alerts and performing root cause analysis for incidents.

- Troubleshooting : Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for complex system and network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring service continuity.

- Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with IT support teams, network engineers, development teams, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and support business operations.

- Shift Work : Work effectively and independently during the 06 :30 PM - 03 :30 AM IST night shift.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration, with a strong focus on Windows Server and Azure environments.

- Azure Certification : Must be Azure certified (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104 or higher).

Azure Services Expertise : Proven hands-on experience with :

- Azure ARC

- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation and management

- Microsoft Intune (for device and application management)

- Windows Server Administration : Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration (2019, 2022).

- Windows Active Directory : In-depth working knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory (AD).

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.

- Shift Work : Ability to work effectively and reliably in the specified night shift.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) :

- Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation of administrative tasks.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SCOM).

- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls).

- Experience with ITIL framework and service management tools.
