What You'll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Own the implementation of the pre-sales strategy, assessing market opportunities, driving success metrics, and adapting the strategy to meet evolving business goals.
- Team Building & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and grow high-performing pre-sales and solutions teams, fostering a culture of ownership, impact, and technical excellence.
- Client Engagement & Solution Design: Lead high-level client engagements, understanding complex business challenges, and designing innovative, customer-centric solutions that leverage our engineering services capabilities.
- Consultative Selling: Drive consultative selling efforts, articulating the value proposition of our services and solutions to C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Domain Expertise Application: Apply a strong understanding of Healthcare & Life Sciences businesses to tailor solutions and strategies that resonate with clients in this critical sector.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively and effectively across functions, including sales, product development, practice leads, marketing, and delivery teams, to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach and seamless project transitions.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client forums, establishing thought leadership in relevant domains.
- Proposal & Bid Management: Oversee the development of high-quality proposals, RFPs, and SOWs, ensuring technical accuracy, strategic alignment, and compelling value propositions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role within an engineering services company.
- Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.
- Strategy Implementation: Proven ability to own and drive the implementation of strategy, with a clear understanding of how to assess and drive success.
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Healthcare & Life Sciences businesses.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and inter-personal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills, with the ability to design customer-centric solutions that address complex business needs.
- Collaboration: Highly collaborative and able to work effectively cross-functionally with sales, product, practice, marketing, and other stakeholders.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
