Job Description

The Creative Lead will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints while delivering innovative and engaging campaigns. This role will require a deep understanding of both coffee and bakery cultures, brand storytelling, and visual design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that connects with our audience, drives brand awareness, and enhances customer engagement. Additionally, the Creative Lead will oversee both the design and copy teams to ensure cohesive, high-quality content production across all creative initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Creative Direction & Strategy:


- Lead the creative vision for ensuring alignment with each brands mission, values, and target audience.


- Develop and execute creative strategies for integrated campaigns across digital, print, in-store, packaging, and events, elevating both the coffee and bakery brands.


- Own the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality, cohesive, and impactful content that resonates with consumers.


2. Campaign Development & Execution:


- Lead the development of marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, ensuring that all content is visually compelling, on-brand, and aligned with customer needs.


- Work closely with the marketing team to create innovative digital and offline campaigns for product launches, promotions, and seasonal offerings.


- Oversee the creation of campaign materials, including digital ads, social media content, email templates, in-store visuals, and print collateral.


3. Brand Storytelling & Messaging:


- Refine the brand narrative emphasizing commitment to quality, craftsmanship, sustainability, and community.


- Translate the essence of the brand into engaging content that communicates their unique stories, sourcing practices, and craftsmanship.


- Ensure all messaging is aligned with the brands tone of voice, reflecting its premium and refined personality, while staying true to its roots in quality and authenticity.


4. Content Creation & Visual Design:


- Oversee the creation of high-quality visual content for all marketing initiatives, including photography, videography, and graphic design.


- Lead a team of designers, photographers, and content creators to produce premium content.


- Collaborate with external agencies and photographers to bring fresh creative perspectives and ensure the highest standards of quality.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure that creative concepts are aligned with business objectives and operational capabilities.


- Provide creative guidance for packaging design, ensuring that packaging reflect the brands premium positioning and brand ethos.


- Partner with the digital team to create engaging, customer-centric content across online platforms (website, social media, e-commerce) that drives engagement and conversions.


6. Innovation & Trend Analysis:


- Stay ahead of creative trends in both the coffee and bakery industries, incorporating innovative ideas into campaigns and content creation.


- Research competitor brands and market trends to ensure that both brands remain leaders in their respective industries.


- Continuously explore new creative channels, formats, and techniques to keep content fresh and impactful.


7. Brand Consistency & Quality Control:


- Ensure consistency across all brand materials, including content, visuals, and messaging, to maintain a cohesive and unified brand presence for both brand


- Oversee the quality of all creative output, ensuring it meets the highest standards of excellence and aligns with brand guidelines.


- Monitor and review the effectiveness of creative campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to improve brand performance and customer engagement.


8. Team Leadership:


- Oversee both the design and copy teams, ensuring that all content is aligned with the creative vision and consistently reflects the brands' premium positioning.


- Guide the team to deliver the most effective output while maintaining a high degree of efficiency in operations.


- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative, creative, and results-driven environment.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in graphic design, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field.


- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling, design, and conceptualization for premium or artisanal brands.


- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design software; knowledge of video editing tools is a plus.


- In-depth understanding of branding, consumer psychology, and digital marketing trends.


- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team to deliver results.


- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams from marketing, product, and operations.


- A keen eye for detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality creative assets.


- An understanding of Indian art forms is an added advantage, enabling the infusion of traditional and cultural elements into creative concepts.


- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
