Engineering Head (BOPP Manufacturing)

Responsible for all engineering aspects of the plant, including production, maintenance, and project management, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations while maintaining quality and safety standards. Strong leadership, technical expertise in BOPP manufacturing processes, and experience in managing teams and projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensuring efficient production schedules, optimizing processes, and meeting production targets for BOPP films.

- Maintaining high quality standards in all BOPP film production processes, adhering to industry standards and customer requirements.

- Overseeing the maintenance of plant equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimal performance.

- Managing capital improvement projects, technology upgrades, and other engineering projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Leading and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

- Ensuring a safe work environment by implementing safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Managing engineering budgets for maintenance, projects, and other related activities.

- Providing technical guidance to the engineering teams and top management.

- Implementing best practice engineering methods and identifying areas for process improvement.

- Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE Electronics or Mechanical with Extensive experience 20-25 years in polyester or BOPP film manufacturing, with a strong background in engineering, maintenance, and project management is often required. Experience in a leadership or managerial role is also essential.

2. Strong understanding of BOPP manufacturing processes: Including extrusion, tenter frame, and winding processes.

3. Knowledge of relevant equipment and machinery: Extruders, tenter frames, winders, etc.

4. Familiarity with maintenance procedures and best practices: Predictive, preventive, and breakdown maintenance.

5. Proficiency in relevant software and tools: CAD, MS Office Suite, and other relevant engineering software.

6. Understanding of process optimization and efficiency improvement techniques.
