Role & responsibilities

• Propose and justify technical electronic design choices aligned with project requirements and constraints.
• Conduct electrical simulations, part stress analyses, laboratory testing, and board-level debugging to validate design integrity.
• Develop and execute verification procedures based on the board requirements specifications.
• Ensure compliance with upper-level system requirements, maintaining traceability throughout the design process.
• Deliver work within defined cost and schedule constraints, ensuring project efficiency and accountability.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including test reports, design definitions, and justification files.
• Integrate cost-effective design principles and producibility considerations, in collaboration with the industrialization team.
• Adhere to established engineering methodologies and aeronautical regulatory standards, including DO-254 and AMC20.

Desired candidate profile

With a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, you bring extensive experience in designing digital electronic boards, integrating components such as microcontrollers, FPGAs, digital memories, and Ethernet interfaces. Your expertise includes:

• Independently calculating key electrical parameters for both simple and complex digital circuits, including:
• Logic gate configurations
• Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs)
• Crystal oscillator tuning
• DDR, SRAM, NOR, and NAND memory interfacing
• High-speed bus architecture and signal integrity
• Designing robust PCB layouts optimized for harsh environmental conditions, ensuring reliability and compliance with industry standards.
• Performing laboratory testing, board bring-up, and debugging using standard equipment such as:
• Oscilloscopes
• Logic analyzers
• JTAG probes
• Signal generators
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical safety standards and applying them throughout the design and testing phases.
• You are known for being organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about technological innovation. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, supports collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and clear documentation of technical work.
