Role & responsibilities

• Ability and willingness to travel, including to France
• Strong proficiency in English for effective international collaboration
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the aerospace industry, including at least 3 years in RTOS-focused engineering roles
• Experience working within technical teams of 10+ members
• Proficiency in developing embedded software for low-level, safety-critical environments compliant with DO-178C standards
• Familiarity with the rigorous processes typical of aeronautical or similarly constrained industries

Technical Expertise Must Have:

• Low-Level Testing and Requirements analysis using tools such as RTRT/IBM Rational Test RealTime Studio
• Deep experience in low-level software development and system architecture (RTOS, bootloaders, drivers, dataloaders, compilation toolchains, debug environments)
• High proficiency in C and Assembly programming

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with DO-178C standards
• Understanding of RTOS concepts, real-time services, communication protocols, and CPU/memory interactions
• Experience with embedded networks (e.g. CAN, A429, A664, RS4xx, Discrete I/O, PWM, ADC, VDT) and hardware-level mechanisms (DMA, interrupts)
• Exposure to configuration and change management best practices
