Position Overview:

This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing a high-net-worth client portfolio, providing personalized financial strategies, and offering comprehensive wealth management services.

This individual will act as a trusted advisor, delivering expert advice across financial planning, investment management, estate planning, tax strategy, and other wealth-related services to ensure clients' financial goals are met.

This person will collaborate with a team of specialists, including financial analysts, estate planners, and tax advisors, to provide tailored solutions.

Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, understanding their financial needs, goals, and objectives.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive and personalized advice to help them manage their wealth effectively.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management strategies based on clients' unique financial goals and risk tolerance.

- Provide expert advice on investment portfolios, retirement planning, estate planning, tax strategies, and charitable giving.

Investment Management:

- Construct and manage diversified investment portfolios for clients, aligned with their financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.

- Stay informed on market trends, economic factors, and investment opportunities to provide timely recommendations to clients.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

- Work closely with internal specialists (e.g., financial planners, tax advisors, estate planners) to deliver comprehensive wealth management services.

- Lead and mentor junior wealth managers and support staff, offering guidance and professional development opportunities.

Business Development and Networking:

- Identify new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with potential clients, centres of influence, and professional networks.

- Actively participate in business development initiatives, including networking events, seminars, and presentations to enhance the firm's presence and reputation in the wealth management space.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on the performance of their portfolios and financial plans.

- Ensure all client documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

- CFP (Certified Financial Planner), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or similar professional designation preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 12 -15 years of experience in wealth management or a related financial services field, with proven experience managing high-net-worth clients.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
