Software Development Engineer - Test - I - Automation Testing (6-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for web and API testing using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

- Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and plans based on technical and business requirements.

- Automate API testing to validate performance and functionality.

- Perform regression testing and identify bugs through systematic and exploratory testing.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient issue resolution.

- Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and techniques.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in test automation for web and API applications.

- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages.

- Hands-on experience with web testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

- Experience with API automation tools (e. g., Postman, REST-assured) and a good understanding of REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
