Senior Executive - Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in ERW and CDW lines. Ensure maintenance schedules are followed for motors, control panels, drives, PLCs, welding machines, annealing furnaces, push pointers, cold drawing benches, etc. Guide and supervise a team of electricians and technicians Coordinate with mechanical maintenance and production teams to plan shutdown activities. Taking care of shift activities, flexible to work in shifts.
• Quickly diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs to minimize machine downtime.Handle issues related to breakdowns in welding circuits, drive control systems, HMI and PLC faults, power supply fluctuations, etc.
• Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and suggest improvements to enhance reliability and energy efficiency. Support modernization projects, including automation upgrades (PLC programming, HMI updates, SCADA systems).
• Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities. Prepare reports on machine reliability, downtime analysis, and spare parts consumption.Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and statutory requirements. Implement Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and safe work practice
• Maintain critical electrical spares inventory. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for procurement of parts and services.

Preferred candidate profile

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all electrical equipment and systems across the ERW and CDW tube production lines. They are responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of electrical systems, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
