Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager - Production

Role & responsibilities

• Enhance Operational Efficiency: Drive improvements in machine OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), energy utilization, productivity, and product quality.
• Union Interaction & Industrial Relations: Effectively interact with union representatives to ensure compliance with labor norms and proactively manage shift-level industrial relations issues.
• Quality Rejection Analysis: Analyze daily line and final inspection rejections; initiate corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and scrap.
• Daily Performance Reviews: Conduct and participate in daily PQDCSM (Productivity, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, Morale) review meetings to drive performance improvement.
• Lean Manufacturing Initiatives: Lead Lean projects focused on inventory reduction, implementation of single-piece flow, and other waste elimination techniques.
• Digital Manufacturing & Loss Analysis: Review IIoT-enabled OEE data; collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and reduce operational losses.
• Safety Culture & Compliance: Promote safe work practices and behaviors; implement measures to improve the overall safety of the workplace.
• Quality Systems & Yield Improvement: Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems; drive improvements in yield and First Time Right (FTR) metrics.
• Workforce Management: Allocate tasks efficiently, manage shift staffing, and address absenteeism proactively to maintain operational continuity.

Candidate from ERW production background/ from Automobile components manufacturing.
