Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in BFSI business development and be proficient in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information), preparing compelling presentations, and drafting Statements of Work (SOWs). This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in driving business growth within the BFSI sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the BFSI sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organizations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements.
RFP/RFI Management:
- Lead the preparation and submission of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposal development.
- Develop persuasive and tailored proposals that highlight our value proposition and competitive advantages.
Presentation and Documentation:
- Create and deliver high-impact presentations to clients and prospects.
- Prepare detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, professional, and aligned with client expectations.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize business development efforts.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.
Operations:
- Prepare detailed Deal qualification presentations
- Create project effort and timelines
- Coordinate and work with the Business Development managers and Account Owners for timely submissions of related project documents.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development within the BFSI sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing RFP/RFI responses and securing new business.
- Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and drafting SOWs.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of BFSI solutions and industry trends.
- Deep Pre-sales and Solutioning expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
