In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Pay is not as per current standard and even year hikes are less. Moreover, there is nothing much to learn from scratch. Just consider this as Govt. Job, where job security is there. It appears that individuals like Mr. Sandeep Dwivedi supported by senior management including javier Laforgue and CEO Luis Maroto, are prioritising personal connections and potential business deals,such as those with Indigo for their own benefit .This focus on personal gain is allegedly causing severe harm to employees, leading to unfair terminations, toxic work culture and hire and fire mentality . Such practices are leaving lasting damage on employees lives and another case like EY might happen if the pattern continues. It will not only tarnish Amadeus reputation but could also raise serious concerns about its ethical practices in India ,warranting immediate review and action.
