...id level meritocratically is very less or non existent in India at this moment. Appraisal is given on the basis of your current salary and not on the basis of your performance, if your manager is a so called non technical and bossy.

So much lay off No salary hike No work progress in other skills No growth learning wise Project r waste Management r useless. They even don't know what is happening in project. Which resource is in project. Who got another. There is no transition or commhnication mail from manager about transition. Don't waste in going here.

Manager use to micro-manage things, no scope of future growth in testing they usually prefer manual testing in most of the projects. Quarterly they are laying off people due to restructuring of the company if you are joining after 2024 there is huge risk of losing the job. They usually do promotion after 3-4 years.
