General Tips: I believe Knowledge and application of knowledge are the only things required to get selected in any interview. To get this two things you have to work on your skills and have good hands on experience. You will be a master in applying your knowledge to real time problems if you have faced them with honesty, hard work and dedication in your current/previous work. Other skills like communication, presentation and domain knowledge comes as by product in the process of learning/day to day job. Make sure your basics are strong in whatever technology you are working in.

Round: Essay Writing
Experience: All the present candidates were asked to write an essay on "Importance of internet in our daily life". Time provided for this round was 40 minutes and almost everyone present there were able to complete that on time. Candidates who cleared that round were ready for the next round.
Tips: Always provide information you know as you can be cross checked by the operations manager and during HR discussion. Avoid making spelling mistakes as they have a huge impact and can be judged based specially on them.

Round: Operations round
Experience: I was called for a round with the operations manager where I was asked several questions based the role I played in my previous organisation. Challenges that I have faced during my work and the resolution offered or implemented during the service period. The reason for resigning from my previous company and also asked for the reason why I want to join TCS and where do I see myself five years down the line. Discussed about the leadership qualities I have in myself and how to implement those going forward.
Tips: Please be area specific while giving any information. Provide full information based on the experience you have. Avoid jumping from topic one to another by providing partial information.

Round: Aptitude round
Experience: In this round I was asked to complete 50 questions in 1 hour which had three sections, A,B,C where I had maths, general intelligence and English comprehension and Grammer test which do not have any negative marking.
Tips: Attempt for all the questions as there is no negative marking in any of these sections.

Round: HR Interview
Tips: Discuss all in details to avoid confusions later.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: First Phone Technical Interview for 1 hr - Programming

Tips: The interviewer seeks my confidence levels more than my technical skills. I suggest confidence is the key point to clear the 1st round

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Second In person interview with account manager - 35 mins, general resume related questions - went well
There was no call or update regarding application status
3 people cleared 1st and 2nd round from my graduate class
1 was called for third round and later offered
Tips: Be confident while you answer the questions and it seems they are very particular about the skills as well behavior

Round: Client Round
Experience: Client of Capgemini calls the candidate and aks technical questions.

General Tips: I got call from HR and they collected general information about my professional and personal information. After that I got call from another HR person for asking about expected salary and notice period. Then he scheduled my technical interview. Technical person called me and asked technical questions. He asked much more questions but in company they do not even use that.
after one week I got call from HR that I cleared first round and there will client round. Client call me next day and he asked almost same technical questions. After one week I got call from HR person that I got selected and asked about salary expectation. But he has predicted salary and did not negotiated on salary.When I accepted it, next day he sent me offer letter.
