I applied via Recruitment Consulltant and was interviewed in Jul 2024. There was 1 interview round.

Round 1 - Group Discussion

GD was with 2 team members and a director level person. Technical questions were asked by both team members which were around project management and fairly easy. Director level person, however, was more of a rude personality manager whose choice of interviewing involved asking a question and then interrupting the answer saying you should use only a single word. Question was "tell me about a time you had to deal with opposing ideas in a group setting". Considering the fact that I both worked and conducted sprints, this was right up my alley. I obviously went in for explaining the event using the STAR method (as the question itself was tell me about a time?) but she was adamant about a word. So i said what word i thought best and proceeded to explain event and then it was another question and another argument. 0 interest in hearing out my actual answer to that question. As this company is similar to my previous organization, I thought i will be patient during interview but she was only interested in arguing throughout. No semblance of interviewing, just plain brash rudeness and tyrant like behavior. 0/10 for interview, do not interview with this team or work under/for this person clearly. Employers need to get these egotistical directors in line who do not even understand how to conduct an interview or even have basic sense when talking with a stranger

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The HR was very accommodating and helpful which I really liked, but the interviewers themselves in the first round (FP&A Leads) were downright rude and obnoxious. An interview is an opportunity for both to see if the other is a good fit but it was very one-sided with very less opportunity for me to even ask questions. They were even too curious about my personal background which honestly made me uncomfortable. Did get selected the next round but my decision was already made even if I was through.

The 2nd round was much better with more respect shown. A lot more behavioral and regarding your experiences, your day to day work.
