Qa Automation Lead

• Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Develop and execute BDD test scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
• Perform API testing using REST Assured and validate responses against expected outcomes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for backend validation and data integrity checks.
• Participate in code reviews, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation suites and ensure scalability and reusability.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks and writing feature files.
• Experience with REST Assured for API testing.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Git).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
