About the Organization :
Our client is an early stage fintech backed by a marquee investors, aiming to revolutionize the digital lending landscape in India. The mission is to build a tech-driven lending platform that leverages AI to provide tailored lending solutions. They are looking for a dynamic Head of Operations to lead the scaling and optimization of its tech-enabled digital lending platform. This is a high-impact leadership role, central to building and scaling the company's end-to-end digital lending operations. We are looking for Tech-oriented, startup mindset leaders who has the ability to thrive in an early-stage fintech environment.
Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join the team and help shape the future of digital lending platform. This is a senior leadership position responsible for building and managing all operational aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in fintech operations, ideally with experience of working with large bank/NBFC and moved on to a larger fintech and a proven track record of experience scaling operations in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. End-to-End Operations: Lead the development and execution of end-to-end digital lending operations, from onboarding customers to loan disbursement and servicing.
2. AI Integration: Work closely with tech teams to integrate AI-based solutions to contextualize lending, ensuring a seamless, automated, and personalized loan experience for customers.
3. SOP & Process Development: Build and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all operations.
4. Tech-Driven Lending: Drive the implementation of technology solutions to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and reduce operational costs.
5. Team Leadership: Manage and scale the operations team, ensuring a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
6. Risk & Compliance: Ensure operational processes are compliant with regulatory requirements, managing risk mitigation and internal audits.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, tech, and risk teams to define and execute operational strategies that align with overall business goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
1. Pedigree: MBA from IIM, FMS, ISB, or similar top-tier business schools.
2. Experience: 10-15 years in senior operational roles, with a background in large banks, NBFCs, and established fintechs.
3. Digital Lending Expertise: Extensive experience in end-to-end digital lending operations with a strong focus on AI-powered lending models.
4. Process & SOP Expertise: Proven ability to build and implement SOPs, optimize workflows, and create scalable processes.
5. Startup-Oriented: Ability to thrive in a startup environment, showing a tech-oriented, agile approach to scaling operations and driving innovation.
6. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on execution and fostering a collaborative culture.
