General Manager (Mechanical) Polyester Film

Responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects. Manage budgets and teams and ensuring production goals and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervising maintenance technicians and other mechanical staff, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

- Creating and executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

- Managing the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of capital projects related to mechanical equipment and infrastructure.

- Controlling maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation, and implementing cost-saving measures.

- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and standards.

- Identifying and resolving technical issues related to mechanical equipment and production processes.

- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve maintenance processes and reduce costs.

- Effectively communicating with various stakeholders, including management, operations, and engineering teams.

- Managing spare parts inventory to ensure availability and prevent downtime.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE with extensive Experience of 20+ years in similar role within a Polyester Film Industry.

2. A strong understanding of maintenance principles, practices, and technologies is necessary.

3. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential for leading and motivating a team.

4. Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.

5. Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing projects.

6. Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and control costs.

7. Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.

8. The ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.

9. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar tools.

10. Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.

11. Adherence to safety standards and protocols in the workplace.

12. Ability to manage projects related to equipment upgrades or modifications.
