Head of Sales and Business Development (Event Industry)
Job Description:
- To develop and foster a positive image and relationship between the company and the guests, clients and the community
- Lead as the Company in the capacity of a Head Sales & Business Development by entertaining all concerned clients looking at booking the venue for hosting their events
- Represent company at various promotional events to garner and promote new and existing Business
- Design and implement an annual sales business Plan
- The Head Sales & Marketing works closely with the Managing Director to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the Company revenues and Venue sales
- He/she is also responsible for a maximum of occupancy of stadium to optimize general business opportunities
- The Head Sales & Marketing creates lucrative sales targets and networks business relations to corporate clients, like corporate , event managers and different book services etc
- He/she has to observe the market, identity trend and monitor the main competitors he/she creates sales targets depending on the tide of events
Responsibilities:
- Exercise of getting new clients
- Negotiating with clients on various costs including Venue
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections
- Participate in Company sales presentations, property recce and customer meetings
- Prepare, implement and compile data for strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, forecasts and other reports as directed and/or required
- Participate in monthly business review meeting, sales meetings and management meetings
- Organize/inspect Client visit at the Stadium
- Filling the enquiry form after taking the details from client and sending the email to client with details for confirmation
- Updating all the queries to Management
Client Servicing Responsibilities:
- Client servicing will be one single point of contact with clients for any and every communication
- Client servicing will not say the client that dates are not available
- Filling Up Event Particular Form and submit duly signed form to Legal department to execute contracts / agreements
- Follow Up & Ensuring that all documentations and payments are received as per the dedicated timelines from clients
- Arranging Event flow meetings with client and respective departments well in advance as mutually discussed
- Ensuring their presence in all the events which are being catered by respective person mandatorily
- Updating Management on SMS or Whatsapp about the final event on day of event with complete details
- Ensuring timely event closures
- Working closely with Clients for success of the events
- Working on certain IPs where responsibilities are defined on case to case basis
- Participate in Company sales presentations and customer meetings
- Exercise of getting new clients
- Archiving the target as set by management
- Payment Follow up includes follow up of TDS & GST amounts along with the rental value. Security Deposit
- Additional payments (Damages / Parking / Garbage Disposal / Additional AC Usage)
