I worked at the Global Analytical Center (GAC) division of CRISIL for almost 5 years. The division is a captive unit of S&P Global (the parent organization) and fosters an international culture wherein a robust training and development framework has been created and each Analyst is given adequate opportunity to learn and develop. The division is not a pay master compared to Bank KPOs which offer similar profiles but offers relatively better job security and work life balance. The Company is not a pay master so if you are a mediocre performer annual hikes may be disappointing. Even for good performers professional and career growth plateaus after reaching Lead Analyst level as there is no defined growth path after this position. Analysts are encouraged to move to other divisions of the Company which have a very different environment and culture.

This company is like a staffing company. Hires once project comes and lays off the next month once project is over. No quality work or projects are there. Very bureaucratic management. Hires from top banks but cannot provide quality project so people mostly leave within 6 month due to job dissatisfaction. All AD and D at GR&A are useless people drawing hefty salary. Most people are in bench and layoffs happen every 6 months. The only task here is to modify CV as per client requirement and write white paper on things they aren't aware....Read More

Very poor infrastructure, looks like some A grade college cafeteria. They hire 40+ people from market once they get a project and layoff people once project is over. Whole management lies throughout. All AD at GR&A are useless people with no skills at all
