Stuck in a coding nightmare – time to jump ship?
I'm a Full Stack Dev on a finance client project. Our SOW doesn't cover functional testing, but the client wants us to rewrite unit tests as integration tests.
Management's silent, so we're stuck doing tons of rework, stretching work hours from 8 AM to 11 PM since day one.
They're pushing RTO, no cabs 'cause it's a 'general shift,' and the manager ghosts calls, texts, and emails.
Job security's gone too. I know I should switch, but I left my last job in 6 months, so I'm hesitant to leave this one at 8 months.
