HCL gives freshers support projects that are so easy even an 8th-grade student could do them. If you join at a salary of ₹20,000 per month, it will stay the same even after 5 years. As for job security, if you keep working on the same salary with no increments, do 5 days work from office, and agree to 24x7 rotational shifts, your job will be safe, and you can stay in HCL for life—but your salary won’t grow.

...re negligible. Performance is not rewarded so doesn't matter if you work or not. They converted a portion of salary promised to be paid at 100% payouts to variable which is unscrupulous and fraudulent to say the least.

3rd class behaviour of higher management.. it's extreme micro management and No respect for any employees! You'll have to convince HCL higher management fools along with convincing the Clients HCL Management never respect their workforce at all.. they remove on-site and ask you to do Night shifts

Horrible work culture Poor hikes Cunning reasons for salary deductions. Not allowing leaves. Untrustworthy HR. Irresponsible Managers, HRs and leadership. Unrealistic expectations. Substandard Cafeteria food. Name-sake facilities like Gym, Yoga, etc. Lesser growth prospects Less dynamism in Roles Bad Cab policy

The plus with HCL is like if you are lucky and get a good client/project you can have a good work life balance.

Dislikes

Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. It is top heavy company. There are 2-3 key people in every project who decides the fate of others. Full of egoistic people in management.
