There is ample opportunity to develop your skillset. Good companies are clients for TCS so you get good exposure in terms of understanding how top companies work. Learning is limitless but impact may be limited as you are bound by both TCS expectations and client company expectations. It is a good place to start your career or even grow your career. The company cares about employees.

Dislikes

Monetary compensation is low and the effort to money ratio is quite skewed. Appreciation is available in terms of certificates and awards, which may be enough for some but not for all. But I personally feel salaries are below industry benchmark.

Little job security unless and until you don't violate company security policy noone will fire you.

Dislikes

Paying low salary to existing employees and hiring outside candidates in average package. And giving yearly hike of just 2-3% however in media they will show 7-10% sometimes more. Higher management doesn't bother about you. They want their work done. Most of the higher management company working on toxic behaviour. A lot of people are on bench some are since year. Average bench period 3months min. Doesn't have anything any project.

No work pressure, but if you are ambitious enough in life then this cannot be the place for you.

Dislikes

Worst salary giver across industry No hybrid work culture Politics in too much visible and they all do it infront of you. Because they know Senior Management will support them. No growth with same project. Management have their favorite kids, they want them only to grow. It doesn't matter how much u work hard you will never get your dues.

...t do not pay well their loyal employees who have stayed with them for 10+ years. I joined as a Team member and I am the Delivery Manager for a account, but the salary is not corrected per industry standards. I myself have recruited people with salary more than me in my team and they tend to move out after max 3 years. being dissatisfied with the pay structure. TCS should give Market Correction to people who have at least 10 +years of tenure with them, to show that they value them.

They do not fire people who is not working and sitting on desk for years but they denied to pay the quarterly bonus and increment to people who is doing hard work. What a joke but it's true

Dislikes

Hiring people hide the work profile and align the non domain work. If you ask for release they are denying as per policy. Fake people Fake environment.
