I joined TCS as fresher and it is very nice experience. About the salary it is depend upon the your project. I get 13.5k per month but for other project it is increased by 4k and onwards due to NSA and OT payment. Transport facility is available. I will say don't join TCS as a fresher if you are experienced then blindly gp for it.

TCS pays very less amount to the freshers. Some projects does not have night shift so freshers can't get more.

...nges happened after Ratan TATA Sir passed away.which are not employees friendly. One side there is no salary increment and other hand they deducted almost 15% salary from some employees on the name of anual performance, no transparency in performance management, work distribution etc.

The best part about TCS? Job security — it's like a golden cage. And the Tata brand? It earns me respect from uncles who think I'm changing the world, when really, I'm just stuck in meetings about meetings.

... me. It took 20 days just to get a laptop and almost 2 months to receive access. HR promised me a minimum of 60–80% variable pay, but I only received 20%. On top of that, I worked 94% from the office with 100% utilization.

The work pressure will be normal as compared to other fast paced companies since they hire too many people overall workload will be diluted. Flexible timing just tap and work from home.

Hikes absolutely you can get salary basis you work even when you get top band the hike will be restricted to max 5%.

...ckage. They don't provide the current CTC but asked to set goal again and again. The basic part of salary components is very low. Only because of some Old Great leader, Company holds brand.
