Qa Automation Lead

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java + Selenium + Cucumber (BDD).
• Implement and execute API test automation using REST Assured.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end UI test scripts using Cypress and Playwright in TypeScript.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Java and TypeScript.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Proficiency in REST API testing using REST Assured.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright for UI automation.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications.

Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
