Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager with proven expertise in the sales of PVC additives or polymer additives. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new market opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets across assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appoint and manage potential business partners such as agents and distributors.
- Conduct technical trials and manage product evaluations to obtain customer approvals.
- Achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct continuous market research to identify new prospects, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Schedule and lead business meetings with existing and potential customers to present company offerings.
- Promote company products by addressing customer objectives and requirements.
- Prepare annual/quarterly customer-based contracts aligned with demand forecasts.
- Provide realistic sales forecasts by product, customer, and region.
- Track and report customer-wise sales volumes, geographic trends, and outstanding receivables.
- Submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the Sales Management team.
- Gather and share market intelligence on PVC industry trends, technology changes, and
regulatory updates.
- Offer after-sales service and technical support to ensure customer retention.
- Mentor and support junior sales staff to improve team performance.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong understanding of PVC processing, applications, and technical requirements
- Ability to conduct product trials and communicate technical specifications effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales and market data
- Strategic thinking and proactive approach to market development
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and reporting tools
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned geographies
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA in Marketing or International Business
